Hi I'm Mat, Owner of Croixland Outdoors LLC.  I first got my start in the green industry mowing lawns at 12 years old.  As I worked my way through middle school, high school, and into college I had many jobs but always found my way back into the green industry, most often Landscape.  

I attended University of Wisconsin-River Falls and graduated with a degree in Horticulture-Landscape Design & Contracting.  Since that time I have worked my way up from a laborer, to a foreman, to a lead designer, through management, and now an Entrepreneur.  

Croixland Outdoors was started in the Spring of 2014 by my wife Kelsie and I, and has continually matured into a full service operation.  We service the Greater St. Croix River Valley on both sides of the river, the Twin Cities Metro area, and from time to time perform jobs in the "Cabin Country" of Northern WI.

All of our lives Kels and I and have been raised on this river, Croix is our dog, named in honor of this area and the love we have for this spot on earth.
